@cford1992 Breaks my heart to say it, but I think she is a bit of a poser. I mean no disrespect as she is young and overshadowed by Jack, but she also lacks a certain fire or conviction. Yeah, she has sex appeal, black on black on black on black gets old though. I far prefer the Stripes but I believe in Jack’s legacy as a world class shape shifter and inspiration…regardless of the band of the year. More power to them and the DETROIT BALLS that made them!

@limegreenninjass Completely disagree. I like The Raconteurs better than the White Stripes, and The Dead Weather is its own collaborative entity to which neither can be fairly compared, but that’s the great thing about opinions: no one cares about yours and no one cares about mine. To each, his or her own.

@limegreenninjass you don’t know that. He hasn’t made an album in either band since The White Stripes split up. maybe he was saving all the best songwriting for the White Stripes
